You are important to the Universe

Today’s message is a loving reminder from my heart to yours so that you may remember how incredibly special, needed, and important you are.

Finding a true sense of inner validation in a world that tells us that our worth is dependent on external circumstances, from my experience, can be incredibly hard. It’s not a place you arrive at, but a feeling that you cultivate more and more within your being as you shed the layers of limitation and self-judgment.

It’s taken me a lot of years of commitment and dedication to my healing to be able to find my purpose, my voice and a feeling of importance in my existence, and so this message is for me, for you, for us.

I constantly have to be reminding myself of what I share inside today’s episode and I’d like to invite you to remember it as well.

Listen, enjoy, and if the message resonates, as always, feel free to share it!

What i talk about in this episode:

Why is inner validation so important?
From the perspective of the Universe, do we even matter?
What is our purpose?

Listen to the episode!

From the point of view of the Universe, we are all important and essential.

Though this might sound like “just a nice thing to say” and seem completely nonsensical to our mind, I’d like to suggest that it is much more than a comforting phrase but a deep Universal truth that has the power to completely shift our perception of who we are.

This is such an important conversation because we all deal with self-doubt and that little voice in our head that tells us we’re not enough.

The little voice that tells us that who we are and what we do doesn’t actually matter.

The part of us that has learned to judge our worth based on how much we are able to fit into the societal expectations of what it means to be successful or “enough”.

And, the part that is only able to see what is in front of us and cannot actually perceive the true impact that our individual life has on our families, our communities and the world.

We have learned to move through life in a state of constant comparison. We are always judging ourselves by how much better or how much worse we are than others (in any field).

If we perceive that we are doing “better” than others, we feel good. We feel important. We feel validated. Whereas, if we perceive that we are doing “worse”, then we feel bad. We feel insignificant. We feel not enough.

This is an absolutely normal way of experiencing life because our mind is made to to separate, divide, dissect, and compare in order to fulfill its purpose.

But, what negative impact has this had on our emotional-mental health?

How much truth does this perception actually hold?

And, how can we shift out of this distorted thinking in order to validate our own existence, worthiness, and importance?

I believe that we find the inner validation we seek when we expand our perception of who we are to perceive ourselves on a larger scale. To see ourselves in the context of who we are for Earth, and who we are for the Universe.

What do I mean by this?

We have to realize that we are more than the roles that we play within our work life and family dynamics. We are actually children of the Universe and part of a divine plan that we are too small to understand.

When we get beyond what is immediately obvious in front of us and perceive ourselves from a wider perspective we can’t help but realize that we are a part of something greater.

We are a part of the human collective consciousness.

We are a part of the consciousness of planet Earth.

And if we go even beyond that, we are a part of the consciousness of our solar system and the Universe itself.

From that perspective it might seem like we’re even smaller, like we’re even more meaningless, but I would like to suggest that is actually the complete opposite.

Let us imagine that we are to the Universe what a cell is to our body.

We all know that our bodies are made up of trillions of tiny cells that we can only see through a microscope, and though we don’t often stop to think about it, every single one of those cells is necessary and important for the entire functioning of our body.

We need the cells in our fingers as much as we need the cells in our brain.

We need the cells in our skin as much as we need the cells in our heart.

Without all the types of teeny tiny cells working together in harmony (in their individual, different roles) we would not be able to have this human experience…

So, what if the same were true for every person, animal and plant on planet Earth?

What if the Earth needs every single one of us in the same way that we all need our cells?

What if us saying that we don’t matter and aren’t enough (just as we are) is like a cell in our knee saying that it is insignificant and unimportant because it doesn’t have a job as important as a cell in the heart?

Does it make sense from that point of view?

Of course it doesn’t. It’s completely non-sensical because we all need to walk! (Of course some people live long lives without legs or arms, but for the sake of this analogy lets exclude these special cases).

When we perceive ourselves from this wider perspective we can then access a universal understanding that invites us into a complete paradigm shift.

That truly, we are all important, and even more, we are all essential and needed.

The idea that every single human being is important seems almost ridiculous from the point of view of our minds because how can you compare the life of the person that is passed out drunk on the street to the life of the person that travels the world teaching and helping people?

Right?

How can you compare the life of the alcoholic parent to the life of the person that dedicates their life to charity?

Right?

From the perspective of our mind there isn’t even a point of comparison when talking about the worth, the importance and the impact of these people, but I’d like to suggest that from the perspective of the greater mind, from the perspective of Universal consciousness truly all these lives are of equal importance.

Like the cells in our bodies we all have a why. We all have a purpose. We all have a “job” you might say. And even though from our small perception it might seem like what we are doing is meaningless, or what another is doing is meaningless, from the larger perspective every single part of the organism is needed in order for it to function.

So, how can we apply this to our lives? How can we use this analogy to better understand our role in this life?

We can understand it by realizing that every single life on this planet is needed and necessary, no matter what it might look like from the outside.

We can understand it by realizing that everyone has a different purpose but that no job is more important than the other. Even if we are too small to see it every being is fulfilling a different aspect of what makes the whole, whole.

The entire organism, that Universal consciousness, would not be complete without every single tiny spec doing what it individually needs to do.

It is from this understanding then that we can come to explore a deep belief that I have…

That our most important task is that of validating our own existence, our own importance, and finding our individual purpose in this life.

When we are able to expand our perception to see ourselves as little cells in the entire body of existence, we can then understand that determining our worth through the lens of comparison is actually a very distorted way of perceiving reality.

We are meant to be unique.

We are meant to create our own path in life.

We are not made to be the same!

Too often we unconsciously think that if we are able to be like somebody else, if we are able to look a certain way, act a certain way, and be a certain way then we will be worthy. We will be enough.

But, like cells we each have individual talents, gifts, and purposes that work toward the completion of consciousness’ quest to experience itself in as many different ways as possible.

To shift into the knowing that what makes you special is what makes you different is truly a large and important task.

It is to expand your perception to understand that even though it might not make sense to you now, and may never, that the Universe does everything for a greater purpose.

There is a consciousness much larger than you moving around all the little parts, and it made you exactly the way you are for a reason.

It’s so easy for us to dismiss the importance of our own calling when we compare it to the obvious massive impact that some people have on the world, but truly it is because we are unable to go beyond our limited perception to understand that actually we are all working together to give life to that larger organism of Universal consciousness.

Your truth, your passion, your genuine excitement, and your individual path is needed.

Our uniqueness and our authenticity is the greatest gift we can give to the world, and I believe that when we understand this it allows us to honor whatever our highest calling is.

So, what is your truth, your passion, and your purpose?

I find that we can discover it by tuning into what we feel inside of our heart, what makes us happy, and genuinely excited. What gives us hope and fills us with passion.

This is truly different for every single one of us and my hope in sharing this message with you today is that you realize that whatever it is that makes your heart sing, even if it seems frivolous and silly, is truly what the entire Universe desires from you.
